Northeast Detective Division is looking to identify and locate the suspects wanted for robbery in Rhawnhurst.
On August 28, 2014, at 6:07 pm, the complainant, a 37 year-old male, was at the Citizens Bank located at 2101 Bleigh Avenue at the Pathmark/Citizen’s Bank parking lot to make a cash deposit. As the complainant parked his vehicle, two unknown males parked their vehicle behind him. The suspects then approached the complainant’s driver’s door, one who was armed with a handgun and attempted to enter the complainant’s vehicle without success.
One of the suspects struck the driver’s window, breaking it. While the complainant attempted to block the suspects attempts to enter his vehicle, the suspect fired one shot striking the complainant in his right arm. Both suspects then returned to their vehicle briefly, and returned to the complainant’s vehicle. As the complainant remained in his vehicle, one of the suspects approached the passenger side of the complainant’s vehicle breaking out the window. The suspect reached into the vehicle, taking the complainant’s cash deposit bag. Both offenders fled in their vehicle and and were last seen exiting the parking lot north on Large Street. The complainant sustained one gunshot wound to his right bicep with an exit wound through his right forearm and was transported to Aria Torresdale where he was listed in stable condition.
Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Black male, clean shaven, 5’3″, wearing black Muslim garb, and armed with a handgun.
Suspect #2: Black male, 6’0″, wearing black Muslim garb, and a black mask.
Vehicle Description: White Dodge Caravan with an unknown Pa tag.
